Earlier this Spring, I was able to go to Lennox MA for a short trip to visit The Kaleidoscope Project at the Cornell Inn.
When I first heard about the Kaleidoscope Project - a show-house and design challenge meant to celebrate and showcase BIPOC designers, I immediately knew it was something I wanted to support, and Weitzner is a proud sponsor of the event!
The brainchild of founders Patti Carpenter, Amy Lynn and Liz Nightingale. Located in the historic Cornell Inn, the project was exciting and celebratory, especially to be together again after 2020!
Immediately I was enchanted with the setting in the Berkshires. The Cornell Inn has been in business since 1888 and the entire property is absolutely stunning. In early 2021 Kurt Inderbitzin who wanted to update the Inn in order to provide a contemporary unparalleled experience.
I think it was a brilliant reason to gather these 23 talented interior designers and allow them to showcase their talent!
While I loved the public spaces, they were dramatic and colorful while feeling sophisticated and age-appropriate for the space, I really was excited by the opportunity to see the guest rooms - all 28!
